Project imagery from my original portfolio on WTFJae.in. Brand imagery gives context; my role was the writing.

first, a little context

The project

I wrote detailed skincare and haircare product narratives for Kutum Ayurveda. The work connected traditional Ayurvedic ingredients with modern self-care needs. I focused on helping the reader understand that connection in natural, trustworthy language.

Who I was writing for

People considering Ayurvedic skincare and haircare who want to understand ingredients and their place in everyday self-care.

where the words had to work

The writing challenge

The writing challenge was to connect traditional ingredients with the way people think about self-care today. The story needed to be understandable without losing the Ayurvedic context.

the thinking behind the sentences

How I approached it

I kept the product narratives close to ingredients and everyday needs. My focus was on making the relationship between the two easier to understand, rather than relying on unfamiliar terminology to create authority.

The voice needed to feel natural and trustworthy. I treated clarity as part of that trust, giving the reader a route into the product story without making the language feel clinical or overly ornate.

what I worked on

The scope

  • Ayurvedic skincare product narratives
  • Ayurvedic haircare product narratives
  • Ingredient-led self-care writing
